Obama Wins 2012 Election
Claiming 50 percent of the vote and 270 electoral votes, President Barack Obama was victorious in winning the 2012 election. He will serve a second four-year term.
The elections also saw the Democrats gain control of the Senate. The Republicans have a majority in the House.
