VMI Salutes Veterans With Patriotic Honda Odyssey Conversion
In support of U.S. military veterans, Vantage Mobility International (VMI), a manufacturer of wheelchair accessible full-size and minivan conversions, has released a limited edition Patriotic Honda Odyssey with the Northstar conversion.
“We live in a great country that was built by everyday people and heroes, like our military veterans. More and more of our VMI vehicles are being bought by U.S. veterans. A patriotic limited edition Odyssey is a simple way for us to show our appreciation for their sacrifices. It also lets owners show the pride they have in their country and military service,” said Doug Eaton, president of VMI.
The conversion sports a red, white and blue theme and is a nod to the company’s ongoing support of organizations that help U.S. military veterans such as Paralyzed Veterans of America’s Mission: ABLE campaign, which provides care, benefits and jobs for paralyzed veterans.
The conversion also features a few upgrades, including screen-printed limited edition badging on stainless steel with a clear coat UV protection; 20-inch TSW Londrina chrome wheels, Hankook Ventus 245 All-Season tires, E&G “Black Ice” custom grill with chrome trim and a dark shade window tint.
“Our patented Northstar system gives drivers and passengers more interior space and an obstruction-free access,” says Eaton. “We’ve been refining this system for nearly two decades, which means the Northstar conversion not only offers more maneuverability and space, but is also reliable and safe.”
The Patriotic Limited Edition Honda Odyssey package retails for $6,995 (excluding the Honda Odyssey with the Northstar in-floor ramp conversion) and is available through VMI dealers nationwide.
