2012 Independence & Mobility Fair Set for Sept. 14-15
If you’re in the Bethpage, N.Y., area on Sept. 14-15, check out the Bussani Mobility Team’s annual Independence and Mobility Fair.
The fair will feature more than 30 organizations, exhibitors and vendors who will display accessibility products and services ranging from home modifications to wheelchairs. In addition, a special Kid’s Carnival Corner will provide wheelchair accessible games, crafts, balloon animals, face painting and a fashion show for children.
“Our accessibility fair has been a tradition at Bussani Mobility Team for many years now, and we always have a great turnout,” said Daniel Bussani, vice president of Bussani Mobility Team. “We look forward to getting together with our customers, so many of whom have become lifelong friends. We’re happy to be able to provide a fun atmosphere where people with physical disabilities can come to socialize and discover new resources to give them the ability to live and travel with freedom and independence.”
Bussani Mobility Team will showcase its accessible vans and adaptive driving equipment and offer $1,000 off the price of any new van or $500 off the price of a preowned van purchased at the event.
Don’t miss the free 45-minute accessibility workshops on accessible travel, health and fitness, canine companions, veteran’s benefits and services, home modifications, legal and financial services, wheelchair sports, and vocational training and employment tips. Free wheelchair tune-ups are also available.
