United Spinal Offers Kids With Disabilities First Look at Sports
Children in the Philadelphia area are gearing up for United Spinal Association’s Kids Sports Spectacular set for Saturday, Aug. 4.
The even offers an instructional look at basketball, tennis, sled hockey, handcycling, indoor rowing, squash and softball for children with mobility impairments. Participants will also try martial arts therapy, which builds confidence and teaches inner strength.
Kids Sports Spectacular is free and open to children and young adults with disabilities (ages of 4 to 21) at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, Pa., from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
