Apply Now: Students With CP Offered $1,500 Scholarship

Students with cerebral palsy (CP) have just a few weeks to meet the July 31 deadline for a $1,500 scholarship. Michigan Cerebral Palsy Attorneys will announce the winner of their “Achievements and Abilities” scholarship on Aug. 31.

The award is meant to help with expenses associated with college as well as recognize the successes of those with cerebral palsy.
To be eligible for the scholarship, applicants must
-- Be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident
-- Be enrolled full time at an accredited U.S. university as an undergraduate or graduate student
-- Have CP or have an immediate family member with CP
-- Have a current grade point average of 3.0 or higher
-- To apply, students must complete an online application (available at http://www.michigancerebralpalsyattorneys.com/scholarship/), submit a transcript and complete an essay on the effect of CP in their lives.
